Led by PD Dr. Mathieu Assal, Dr. Victor Dubois-Ferrière and Dr. Lisca Drittenbass, the Centre ASSAL Center is composed of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, surgeons, researchers, podiatrists and specialized nurses.

PD Dr. Mathieu Assal specializes in foot and ankle surgery. Internationally recognized orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, he established the Centre ASSAL for Foot Care and Surgery in Geneva in 2012. He and his team of specialists treat acute and chronic disorders of the lower limbs. He is also well-known for his extensive clinical research contributions, designing new surgical techniques, and developing new surgical approaches that are now used world-wide.

Dr. Lisca Drittenbass specializes in foot and ankle surgery. She was Chief Resident at the Luzerner Kantonsspital, one of Switzerland’s largest hospitals, between 2010 and 2013. She then went on to accept a position as Associate Physician at the ASSAL Center for Foot Care and Surgery, where she practices today.
