Dr Halah Kutaish

MD/PHD CANDIDATE ORTHOPAEDIC AND TRAUMA SURGERY

Dr Halah Kutaish has extensive medical and international experience. In addition to her training at various hospitals in China, Syria and Switzerland, in fields such as internal medicine, gynecology, pharmacology, gastroenterology, acupuncture and rehabilitation, Dr Halah Kutaish also has in-depth knowledge of epidemiology.

Presentation

During her career, she has also participated in national and international humanitarian projects run by the United Nations, Red Cross Switzerland and Red Cross Syria. Whether as a volunteer or coordinator, she focused her energies on human rights, food supply and health. She works as a Junior Research Fellow at the Assal Center.

 

Education

In addition to her education in Oriental and Far Eastern languages, Halah Kutaish gained the title of Doctor in 2012 after completing extensive course work in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine in Nanjing, China. She holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Basel. She is currently specializing in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at the Assal Center for Foot Care and Surgery.
